PHP Backend-Developer (m/f/d)

Working at 4Motions GmbH means working for the specialist of intelligent sales and sales promotion in B2B. As a Senior PHP Developer your personality and skills will enrich our team in Leipzig. You will design complex data architectures and find suitable solutions for new and upcoming challenges. While doing so, you can also keep a close eye on the quality of the projects to ensure the success of projects.
Your tasks
- You develop and implement modern PHP applications
- You work out requirement analyses based on customer needs and derive a concept for the software to be developed from this specifications
- You will play a key role in the modernization of our technical stack
- You enjoy day-to-day developing as well as project-specific programming & taking care of coding- and quality standards
- You design tailor-made applications using PHP and Laravel
- You develop the backend architecture which interacts with MySQL databases
- You perform quality assurance, software tests and code reviews & document them accordingly
- You regularly communicate with users, customers and project managers about the functional requirements specification
What you bring with you
- Successfully completed studies in the IT field or comparable training
- an eye for the big picture, in order to manage your projects in a goal-oriented manner
- Interest in new software architectures, analyses and concepts
- professional experience in PHP, software development and experience with MySQL databases
- Strong communication skills in English
- Support from 4M to further enhance your communication skills in German language
- Interest in current technological developments and trends
